Born and raised on the Charleston Coast, Betty Poore is a phenomenon of energy, experience, and success. “When I started in the business, Kiawah and Seabrook were in early development, and Wild Dunes was just getting started. It was a great time to live and work here. It still is," says Betty.

It must be a smooth brew; many of Betty’s buyers and sellers have been working with her for decades. “I love what I do,” she says, “and I hope it shows.”
For more than 40 years (and still counting) Betty has magically transformed buyers and sellers into “friends.” She loves her golf, her workouts, her husband’s cooking ... and the occasional glass of wine.
“My mom, Toddy Poore, was a pioneer in the Charleston real estate market, a single mother with six kids and a full-time job. I’d like to think I’m continuing her tradition, walking in her footsteps ... except for the six kids, of course.”
